Baby BOY DeSalvo - Week 28

How Far Along: 28 weeks, 1 day

Total Weight Gain: At my doctor's appointment yesterday, I was right at 24 pounds gained. 

Maternity Clothes: Yes! I always look forward to putting on my sweats on at the end of the day and I am excited for it to FINALLY warm up so I can wear stretchy skirts and dresses!

Favorite Moment This Week: He has been moving a lot this week, but today was by far the neatest! During dismissal at school, I felt the baby's first case of hiccups! It was the coolest sensation ever. 

Movement: I'm definitely beginning to notice a pattern and food ALWAYS gets him moving! 

Food Cravings: ICE cold Milk, pineapple, scrambled eggs, toast, Mexican food (Chipotle and Jose Peppers)

What I miss: Being able to do anything in a hurry, walking up the stairs without being out of breath and sleeping on my back. I am still thoroughly enjoying every moment of carrying this sweet baby!

Sleep: It depends on the night, but usually there's a lot of tossing and turning around 5:00 a.m. until I get up. Luckily when I get up to use the restroom around 2:00 or so, I don't have a hard time falling back asleep. I'm ready for it to be warm so that Joe and I can start talking walks before bed time.

What I am looking forward to: Continuing nesting, of course and obviously holding my sweet baby in just a few short months! I also can't wait to celebrate with family and dear friends at my upcoming showers.

Symptoms: Nothing out of the ordinary, but I have been getting back pain in the night. I started sleeping with a heating pad on my upper back and that has helped tremendously!

Belly Button: It's still half in and half out, I'm ready for it to make up its mind!

Next Dr. Appointment: We had an appointment yesterday afternoon and now our appointments are every two weeks! We go back on April 8th. I was measuring at 30 weeks yesterday so we will see what I'm measuring at in two weeks. They will want to do another ultrasound if I continue to measure larger than 2 weeks.

Baby sure is making his presence known! 

Baby's room is almost complete! We just need to hang some things on the wall, get bedding on the bed and organize his closet...then this room will be ready for our little guy to come home to.
